In a sea of photo book apps, how do you make yours stand out? That was the challenge Canon posed to EGC with their hdAlbum EZ Photo Book App. Rather than create yet another video demonstrating how easy it is for a busy mom to create a photo book, we turned the idea sideways, and let Dad express his “creative” side. Then, we brought it to life with the help of Director/Comedian, Bonnie McFarlane.
The video, which ran for five months on both Facebook and Instagram, drove 90 percent of photo book sales for Canon and resulted in 50,000 app installs. Additionally, the video received 49 million impressions and was the highest performing creative for the product.
The “It’s Dad Easy” video won a 2019 Silver Telly Award for “Products and Services for Social Video.”
Yup, it was Dad Easy!
