Email Developer

Temp-To-Perm

Melville, NY (Hybrid)

The Role

EGC Group is seeking an Email Developer to code and test email campaigns for our clients on various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTML/CSS, email marketing best practices, and email deliverability. Workload can range from 10-20 emails per week.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Skills:
  • Develop responsive email templates that are compliant with email marketing best practices.
  • Ability to code templates manually (i.e. without the use of drag-and-drop template builders)
  • Test emails and troubleshoot display issues for compatibility with different email clients and devices.
  • Strong attention to detail, such as ensuring the accuracy of tracking UTMs, ALT text, subject line, etc.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, Vertical Response, Hubspot, and Campaign Monitor.
  • Ability to code for Dark Mode, and advise designers on best practices.
  • Must be able to multitask, as well as stay within the allotted time budget.

Samples of previous work should be sent along with your resume. You will be required to code a sample email as a test to assess your skill level.

Associate Creative Director (ACD) Copywriter

Melville, NY (Hybrid)

The Role

The ACD Copywriter will be responsible for creating engaging concepts and content for our diverse portfolio of clients. The Copywriter must have excellent verbal and communication skills, along with the versatility to communicate with clients who are digitally-savvy as well as those who are not. This position will be a client-facing role, so presentation skills are a must. This candidate will work closely with the Creative Director, but must also be able to concept and work independently.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Skills:
  • Strong concept development and exceptional writing and communication ability.
  • The patience and stamina to oversee projects from concept to completion.
  • Communicate and provide direction to other creatives.
  • Understanding of the digital landscape and its copy requirements.
  • The ability to adapt writing to different tones and styles.
  • Create effective content (e.g., short, long, and medium form) that includes website copy, resource guides, whitepapers, blog posts, articles, video scripts, storyboards, ads and press releases, among types of material.
  • The ability to work effectively with the strategy and account team for developing documents that align with a project’s goals at kick-off.
  • Comprehend the overall strategy of a campaign and understand each client’s goals and objectives, along with providing strategic content recommendations.
  • Presents work and ideas clearly to client and internal teams.
  • Turn complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand content.
  • Is aware of deadlines and is detail oriented.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in web and content marketing.
  • Experience with having worked on large accounts or national brands.
  • Strong ability to communicate to the internal team and interact directly with clients.
  • Detail-oriented and an excellent problem-solver. Self-starter who can multi-task and juggle many simultaneous priorities.
  • Meticulous with details and quality.
  • The ability to prioritize workload and estimate the delivery of a project.
