HOUSTON (October 15, 2012) – Beverage industry international supply chain leader Satellite Logistics Group (SLG) has appointed Timothy Cognata to the position of Director, Business Development.
In his new role with Satellite Logistics Group, Cognata will work with current customers and explore new opportunities on the East Coast presented by the creation of the company’s innovative service lines:

Prior to his tenure with the Craft Brewers Alliance, Cognata worked in area pre-sales for Western Distributing Company. Cognata brings Satellite Logistics Group over 21 years of sales experience in the beer industry. Most recently he was with the Craft Brewers Alliance, brewers of Redhook, Widmer and Kona beers where for 17 years he held various positions within the organization as a state sales manager, regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region, Southern division sales director and most recently key account manager/national account manager. Prior to his tenure with the Craft Brewers Alliance, Cognata worked in area pre-sales for Western Distributing Company.
