It sounds so cliché, but how are we almost at the end of 2018 when last New Year’s was just a few weeks ago? …Right? The year may have flown by, but 2018 has brought plenty of lasting developments in the beer industry.
After the Thanksgiving celebrations, it feels like the right time to pause and think about what we, the Hillebrand Keg Pros, are thankful for. Here are just a few of the big 2018 blessings that we have:
The Beer Industry
The outpouring of support for our friends at Sierra Nevada Brewing, who have suffered great loss as a result of the wildfires, has come from all across the United States. This spirit of camaraderie makes us thankful and proud to work for such a wonderful industry.
Ken Grossman of Sierra Nevada Brewing commissioned the special Resilience Butte County Proud IPA. All proceeds from this beer will go toward wildfire recovery. Brewers all over the nation are pitching in and also brewing this special recipe. The list of hundreds of participating breweries grows daily. Kudos to our customers including Bell’s, Deschutes, Firestone Walker, Founders, Revolution, Wicks and Wormtown Brewing for joining in on the efforts. Our Customers
We would be nothing without our client partnerships. Recent current events have highlighted the compassionate depth of the beer industry, where brewers care so deeply about each other and our ecosystem. The natural disasters of 2018 put immense pressure on our friends in the Carolinas, Florida panhandle and California. It was just over a year ago when our hometown of Houston was devastated by cataclysmic flooding. We deeply appreciated how so many of our friends in the beer industry reached out to help our employees and our city rebound and rebuild. This year, we have been given the opportunity to pay it forward.
Our New Solution: KegFleet
We officially launched our new keg leasing program, KegFleet, at the 2018 Craft Brewers Conference in Nashville. The Keg Pros are extremely grateful for the way the brewing community embraced our leasing option. We owe some of this success to our KegID keg tracking solution.
