HOUSTON (November 19, 2012) – Beverage industry international supply chain leader Satellite Logistics
Group (SLG) has appointed Jaime Garcia to distribution facility manager of their keg consolidation warehouse
in Laredo, TX.
In his new role with Satellite Logistics Group, Garcia is responsible for the direct oversight of day-to-day
warehouse operations and supply chain management services.
“I am pleased to join the Satellite Logistics Group team and look forward to managing our customers’
business with attention to detail and value-added service,” said Garcia. “My previous experience in the
logistics industry and long-term residency in Laredo has prepared me to oversee all segments of our clients’
special supply chain needs.”
Garcia brings over 25 years of experience to Satellite Logistics Group and was most recently with BE&SCO
Manufacturing where he was a director of plant operations and managed the daily functions for the
manufacturing, engineering, material control and service departments. Prior to his tenure with BE&SCO
Manufacturing, he held various operations, engineering and logistical positions for companies including Ruiz
Homes, Dynamic Logistics, PRF Industries, Modine Manufacturing, General Dynamics and Tracor Aerospace.
Garcia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University in College
Station, TX.
